Ingredients:

Chicken pieces
Packet of Spinach
Onion
Garlic
Tomatoes
Salt & pepper
Curry powder
Any spices you like

Method:
Prepare your chicken; season with salt, pepper , and curry powder.
Brown your chicken in some oil in a sauce pan.
When golden brown, add onions and garlic and continue to cook.
Add your tomatoes and continue to cook.
Prepare your spinach – wash in boiled water and chop if necessary.
Add spinach to chicken and simmer gently.
You can also add mushrooms and some chicken stock to thicken the sauce at the end.

Pap
Boil enough water to make the amount of pap you need.
In a pot, mix mealie meal & cold water to make a thick paste.
Add the boiling water and mix to avoid lumps forming.
Should be a thick porridge consistency.
Allow to boil for 10 to 15mins on medium heat.
Add more mealie meal and continue to stir until it is stiff, but soft.
Reduce heat to low, cover the pot and let it sit for a further 5mins.
Stir once more and serve with the stew.

We hope this recipe inspires you to invite over your friends and family and support the work of Life Child.
Merry Christmas!
