Camila is 8 years old and is in 3rd grade and her teacher is Marito.
Camila is Orphaned of her Father and lives with her mother and her 6 siblings.
Camila started studying 1st grade at the Peace school in Mozambique in 2018 and, through the Cell and discipleship, she received Jesus as her personal Savior. Camila and her older brother Sonio Hélder who is a graduate student of the Peace school, attend Life Church and listen to the message on Sundays on their radio.
Camila’s family is highly vulnerable and deals with many life challenges. Her mother takes the dual role of Father and Mother and is the provider of the family, which is not very easy for her, and the family. At times they go hungry, because the family farm on which they depend, sometimes does not produce enough, due to climate change and insufficient seeds. The food parcel distributions from Life Child during this period of COVID-19 have been a tremendous help to her family.
In her free time, Camila likes to read and play with her friends in the community.
Like other children, Camila has a dream, she wants to be a teacher in the future to help her mother, brothers, and the community in which she lives.
The girl literacy rate in Mozambique is only 28%. Camila has a brighter future ahead since Camila is one of the children that is being sponsored. Thanks to your support she has the opportunity to attend school.
