International Life Child Day

Let’s celebrate International Life Child Day on the 1st of March 2025!

On this special day, we invite you to join us in raising awareness online about the work of Life Child with orphan and vulnerable children in Sub-Saharan Africa. You can follow us on Facebook and Instagram. Share, share and share! And yes, comment too! 🙂You can also get active in making a difference by donating or signing up to Sponsor a Child.

We are excited to celebrate some of the children and families whose lives have been changed through partners, sponsors, champions and mission teams.

Meet Noluvuyo from South Africa.

Noluvuyo is the mother to a boy, Lunje (5 years old), and a girl, Kubokonke (3 years old). Noluvuyo’s journey with Life Child began when she was at her lowest, struggling with feelings of worthlessness and despair. Through the support of Life Child and our Family Strengthening community, her children were enrolled in preschool, giving them a safe environment to grow and learn. At the same time, Noluvuyo received emotional and spiritual support through Cell, counseling, and workshops, which transformed her perspective on God, life, and herself. She no longer saw herself as hopeless but as a mother with purpose. With encouragement, she regained her identity documents and is now preparing to pursue her dream of studying nursing.

Beyond her own transformation, Noluvuyo’s growth has begun to impact her family and community. She successfully completed the Learn to Earn baking course and now uses her skills to generate income while also giving back—volunteering at the Life Child preschool and providing baked treats for Cell. Her story reflects the power of love, faith, and opportunity, showing how a single life touched by hope can uplift a family.

Meet Oliveira from Mozambique.

Watch this incredible testimony of Oliveira, from Mozambique, who received the opportunity to be blessed by all that Life Child had to offer him as he attended our Peace School in Namuinho. He has grown into a wonderful adult who has decided to give back by becoming an amazing teacher at the Peace School. He is now a part of shaping the next generation. Watch this video to hear from him in his own words.
