Maria is in Year 1 and she started school in January (2019). She is enjoying her new school and her studies. She lives with her parents and four siblings. Her parents are subsistence farmers who farm locally and produce food on the farm which sustains this large family. At school, Maria is part of a cell group led by her teacher where she is learning more about God.
