He lives with his maternal grandmother. He is 6 years old and has 3 siblings. Dercindo lost his parents when he was very young and since then he has lived with his grandmother. This situation made him grow up differently from the children of his community because he could see that his friends have parents and this made him very sad. He joined the Okalawo School where through cell times he has learned about God, his love, and his fatherhood. Dercindo has been coming to school every day and is very assiduous. He is very happy to be at the school and enjoys volunteering to work on the board. In his spare time, he helps his grandmother with some household chores and his dream is to become a teacher.
